VJSE Jewels of Hope Off to a Great Start!

VJSE Jewels of Hope opened August 1, 2012 and through the generous donations of the Vintage Jewelry Sellers on Etsy team members and the tireless work of Shari and Andrea, the shop has been a great success!

The first quarters charity was Hope for the Warriors, a group that helps post 9/11 service members and their families who have fallen or been wounded in the line of duty.

VJSE Jewels of Hope is a very different vintage jewelry shop. Every item in the shop has been donated by a member of the Vintage Jewelry Sellers on Etsy Team. 100% of the shops profits go to charity. The charity this quarter is:

Hope For The Warriors®

The mission of Hope For the Warriors® is to enhance the quality of life for post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty. Hope For The Warriors® is dedicated to restoring a sense of self, restoring the family unit, and restoring hope for our service members and our military families

The Vintage Jewelry Sellers on Etsy is a Team of professional, knowledgeable and reliable sellers whose goal is completing honest and courteous vintage jewelry transactions. The members of VJSE strive to raise the bar of selling vintage and antique jewelry. The VJSE membership believes in supporting each other and their community. This is the reason for VJSE Jewels of Hope, it is just another way for the Vintage Jewelry sellers on Etsy to give back to their community.

The shop is promoted and run by the VJSE team on ETSY.  The members of the team are responsible for getting the items seen by the public.
The charity is chosen by a VJSE team member every quarter, from a list of 13 pre-approved charities that have been qualified as tax exempt charities.

We started the shop with over 110 donations from multiple VJSE team members.
